Multi Operator as a Service

What it means to work on multiple networks at once through Netcom.

What exactly does Multi Operator as a Service mean?+

You get one contract, one invoice and one point of contact, but choose per SIM between the networks of Proximus, Telenet and KPN Mobile (NL). You're never locked into a single operator and can switch based on coverage, price or performance.

Can I switch networks without changing provider?+

Yes. When coverage or pricing changes, we switch your line to another network without you changing supplier. Your contract, numbers and management stay with Netcom.

How can I call over Telenet or Proximus without switching provider?+

You remain a Netcom customer. We are a Multi Operator MVNO, so you choose which network your SIM runs on. You switch networks without changing provider, contract or number.

What's the difference with a classic operator?+

With a classic operator you're tied to one network. With Netcom you choose per line which network fits best, while keeping one central invoice and one point of contact for all your SIMs.

Rates and VAT

How our prices are structured and what the VAT display means.

How are the rate plans structured?+

Per network we offer mobile, data-only and IoT bundles, excluding VAT by default for business customers. See the full overview on the rates page.

Why do I see prices excluding VAT by default?+

Our customers are mainly Belgian companies that reclaim VAT. The excl. VAT display shows the effective cost for your accounting. On the rates page you can switch to 'Incl. VAT' at the top for the gross final price.

How much is Belgian VAT?+

Belgian VAT on telecom services is 21%. Example: EUR 25 excl. VAT equals EUR 30,25 incl. VAT. Your current display on this page shows EUR 25 as EUR 25.

Can I reclaim VAT as a business owner?+

Yes, VAT-registered businesses fully reclaim the 21% Belgian VAT. The net cost therefore stays equal to the 'Excl. VAT' display.

Are there hidden costs on top of the monthly fee?+

No. The monthly fee includes SIM management and support. Only usage outside the EU and optional add-ons are billed separately, always with 21% Belgian VAT.

What exactly does "unlimited calls and texts" mean?+

Truly unlimited to Belgian numbers, subject to a fair use policy. Our SIMs are intended for personal or business use, not for SIM boxes or reselling call minutes.

Switching and keeping your number

How we handle your migration without interrupting your service.

How does switching to Netcom Mobile work?+

You choose a plan and network, we handle the migration with number portability. You receive a physical SIM or activate instantly via eSIM. There is no interruption of your service.

Can I keep my current number?+

Yes, number portability is standard and happens without interrupting your service. We arrange the porting with your current operator.

Do I need to cancel my current contract?+

No, we handle the cancellation and porting for you. You sign one document, we do the rest with your current operator.

What information do you need for a port?+

Your current mobile number, the SIM card number (ICCID), your customer number with the current provider (if applicable), and the name the subscription is billed to at the current provider.

eSIM and devices

How to activate and which devices are supported.

What is an eSIM and how do I activate it?+

An eSIM is a digital SIM card that you activate by scanning a QR code with your device. Works on iPhone (iOS 17+), iPad (iPadOS 16+) and most Android devices (Android 10+).

Can I get both a physical SIM and an eSIM?+

Yes. You choose per line. For devices that support dual SIM, you can use a business eSIM alongside a private physical SIM.

Support and usage

What to expect in terms of follow-up and notifications.

Do I get notifications about my data usage?+

Yes, you're notified at 80% and at 100%. After that, depending on the plan, throttling or a block applies, to avoid surprises.

Do I keep my number and does my service stay online during the migration?+

Your numbers are transferred using standard number portability, and we plan the migration to keep downtime to a minimum. Book a migration call.

How do I reach support?+
