IoT applications by region

Every region in Flanders has its own connectivity challenges. We choose the best network per location or a multi-operator card.

Port and logistics

Containers, trailers and warehouse trucks in the Port of Antwerp need reliable coverage between warehouses, terminals and motorways.

Manufacturing and Kempen

Smart machines in Kempen industrial zones send telemetry to a central platform. A stable data connection is essential for predictive maintenance.

Charging infrastructure

Charge points at companies, retail parks and municipalities must be online 24/7. Netcom provides the M2M cards behind charging infrastructure, such as for Blulinc.

Agriculture and rural areas

Sensors in agriculture, water level monitoring and access gates in remote locations in Limburg and Flemish Brabant.

Retail and payment terminals

Tills, payment terminals and backup connectivity for shops in urban centres such as Ghent, Bruges and Leuven.

Real estate and security

Camera surveillance, alarm centres and access control in office buildings, retail parks and logistics sites.

Regions

Coverage in every Flemish province

We combine the networks of Proximus, Telenet, Orange and KPN Mobile so your device picks the strongest signal, also outside the cities.

Antwerp

Port, logistics, industry and urban areas.

East Flanders

Ghent, Sint-Niklaas, Dendermonde and the Waasland harbour.

West Flanders

Bruges, Kortrijk, Ostend and Roeselare.

Limburg

Hasselt, Genk, the Kempen and logistics parks.

Flemish Brabant

Leuven, Mechelen, Vilvoorde and the Brussels periphery.

Case in Flanders

Blulinc connects charge points via Netcom M2M

Blulinc builds and manages charging infrastructure at Flemish companies. Netcom provides the M2M connectivity behind the charge points: data-only SIM cards in a shared pool, usage caps per charge point and multi-operator coverage for critical locations.

  • One data pool across all Flemish charge points
  • Caps per card against bill shock
  • Multi-operator coverage for outage-prone sites
  • One invoice and one Belgian contact

Frequently asked questions about IoT in Flanders

Do you also work in the Port of Antwerp area?

Yes. We deliver M2M cards for logistics and industrial applications in and around the Port of Antwerp. Depending on the location we choose a single-operator or multi-operator card.

Can I share a data pool across multiple Flemish locations?

Yes. You buy one volume that applies to all SIM cards, regardless of whether they are in Antwerp, Ghent, Limburg or Flemish Brabant. This way silent devices benefit from the usage of active devices.

What if a location has poor coverage?

We then choose a multi-operator card that automatically switches to the strongest network. For fixed locations with weak coverage we also consider Starlink Pro as a backup.

Do you also provide eSIM for IoT devices?

Yes. For devices with a built-in eSIM we load a profile remotely, without physical shipping. Useful for machines already in the field or manufactured abroad.
