1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Next to cookies we also use local storage and session storage in your browser, which work in the same way: they keep data locally with you.

2. Necessary cookies and local storage

These are required for the website to function and are always set. They do not build commercial profiles.

• Language choice (NL or EN) so you do not have to pick again on every visit.
• VAT display (excl. or incl. 21 percent) on the pricing pages.
• Progress and security checks in the activation flow, including protection against spam and abuse.
• Payment sessions during checkout with our payment partner.

3. Analytics and advertising cookies

To understand which pages are useful and which campaigns work, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. These services set cookies and may process data about your visit, such as pages viewed, referring source, device type and anonymised IP address.

These cookies are not required to use the site. You can block them through your browser settings or a browser extension without breaking the rest of the website.

4. Third party cookies

Some parts load content or features from external parties that may set their own cookies: our payment partner Mollie at checkout, TidyCal for booking an advisory call, and Google for analytics and advertising. Those cookies are also covered by the policies of those parties.

5. How long we keep them

Session cookies disappear as soon as you close your browser. Preferences such as language and VAT display remain until you clear your browser storage. Google analytics cookies have a retention period set by Google, typically up to 24 months.

6. Managing your choices

• In your browser you can refuse cookies, allow them per site, or delete all existing cookies.
• The privacy settings of your browser also let you clear local storage and session storage.
• For Google Analytics you can install the opt-out browser extension provided by Google.
• Please note: if you block necessary cookies, the language choice, VAT display and activation flow will not work correctly.

7. Personal data

When you send a request, an activation or a contact form, we process the data you enter in order to handle your request. We do not sell data to third parties. You can always request access, correction or deletion via info@netcomsolutions.be.
